I hope Gary's health has improved and you are both doing well. I sure hate seeing the for sale sign on the drive in when I go by. Three generations of my family have watched movies there and never miss a summer. I hate the thought of someone buying it and turning it into a subdivision or something. I sure you can keep it open for all of us long time patrons (and freinds) who love you guys!
30 years ago, before becoming the Ultimate Party King, I snuk out of the house, came down to the Hiway 50
and watched The Night the Lights Went Out in Georgia, Take This Job and Shove It, & Sharky's Machine.
Everyone should experience drive-in movie viewing at least ONCE in their life. Sad that there are too few drive-ins left.
Keep Rockin' Hiway!
Yes, the FOOTLOOSE video was filmed at the Hi-way 50 Drive-in in early September. Join us to see the movie this weekend or next for some good old fashioned fun.
This has to be the drive in that Blake Shelton used on his video Footloose. Please tell me I am correct. When I was
dating my husband back some years ago, we usually went to the localy drvie in. That was 34 , Mabybe I need to invite
my husband of 32 years on a date, back to a drive in.
We have taken our two son's to this drive in and now I am planning on taking my three grandkids.
It has been several years since I have been able to visit this drive in. We used to go at least once a month. We lived in Tullahoma, but had heard of it through friends. I live in Hartsville, TN now - just wish there were drive-ins as classy and family oriented up here. There won't ever be one as special as yours!! I sure hope we get to visit again one day. My son and his dad would get out and play football or frisbee before the movie started. We always manager to make new friends, too. Thanks for those great memories!!!!

We've been taking our kids to Hiway 50 for five years, since we moved to Tennessee. It is great family fun at a reasonable price. We love that you show a kid friendly movie first and save the more mature movies for the second feature. We drive 30 minutes from Spring Hill every chance we get! Thank you for doing what you do.
